Hi, I’m Emily.

While I normally ran the copy machines, laminators, and spiral binders at my mom-and-pop print shop job in college, one day my boss put me in front of the computer, showed me how to use Corel Draw, and asked me to create an advertisement for a trucking company. Once listless and undecided about what to study in college, I was quickly hooked and dove into an immersive Visual Communication Design program at Arizona State University.

Design for me has been a beautiful mix of hands-on creating, analytical problem-solving, and collaborative innovation. I see my work as much more than "making something pretty" – rather, I am a visual communicator and usability advocate, whether that is making a process more accessible for a customer or figuring out the best way for a company to tell their story in an impactful way.

I share a life with my husband, two children, and two cats. I’m a total podcast nerd, a hobbyist photographer, and a big fan of exploring the trails nestled around the Boise foothills.

If there’s a design challenge that you need some help with, I’d love to connect.
